How do I fix this? I tried to look it up but it says the developer needs to do something?
It occurs right after Remus says "I will not let you destroy this world" or smth like that and even if I ignore it the rest of the scenes are like this so I cannot progress in the game?
Tbh I never thought I could be so attached to a vn, but this one just hit me different than any others.
The whole reality change thing reminded me of shifting which was pretty popular back then in 2020-2023, the whole scenario of you being able to scape to another reality, run away from your own life, it just feels so good to be true, part of me being like literally destroyed after finishing Cedric’s route is bc I really get him, I really get the feeling of wanting to be somewhere else, even if that “new world” is not real, it feels much more real than “home”
Ughh I was so obsessed with shifting back then I could literally just try every single method every day, every week just to wake up somewhere else, this just hits differently.
Also Cedric’s problems with Kieran are just so well written that I could get every single part, I don’t want to say that I hated the ending they got but it could’ve been much more happier, and I think that’s the problem, the ending is just so real, very realistic it makes you feel sad, somewhere deep inside you, you want them to be happy and stay together but no, in the real world, things cannot be perfect, and we have to adapt and continue living even if it’s not what we want.
I want to say that I wanted to see more of them, more interactions, I consider that the game was pretty selective with the dialogues Cedric and Kieran had, they revealed a little bit of their past but nothing more than that, also we are not able to see what do they do after destroying Peregrine, we just have a time skip that leaves you pretty empty ☹️☹️
anyways I wanna say that this game has turned out to be one of my favorites ever, and Cedric is just too good to be true, I love him sm and I hope we can see more of him with Kieran in the future somehow with a extension of the game, a DLC or a new game just focused on them.
Hopefully I will recover soon from the kinda depression I feel rn after finishing it.
Is there any way to convince Remus to go with you in his route, or is choosing to be stuck with him as the fantasy world unravels around you two the happiest you can get? I'll be fine if not, it just really hurts ;w;
Yeah, that's the one I meant. Fuck, man, that hurts, because despite how far into being a villain he got by sacrificing people to keep what was ultimately his fantasy alive just so he could continue denying reality I can't bring myself to hate him. Mad at him, sure, (especially with how he belittled Cedric) but I can't help but wish he got another chance at life in the real world. Would have been interesting too if he and Professor Abbet met because I'm convinced they're long-since separated brothers
Yeah, I totally get what you mean!! Remus's whole storyline was just so heartbreaking, I couldn't stop thinking about it after finishing the game, but damn, it was so well-written too. I think in his mind, he probably did feel sorry for the previous victims, but he must have also convinced himself he was helping them achieve desires they couldn't in reality. I mean, in a way, those guys didn't escape the void like the MC did—they obviously found fulfillment there, right?
And BTW, I totally agree on the Abbet brothers theory, especially since Kieran saw that photo of two guys in Abbet's office back in Chapter 1. I'd totally read any fanfic exploring Abbet and Remus's interactions in the real world, or Remus interacting with the MCs!
btw I found some of the music used in the VN... totally didn't find it and then blank for a second when I realized where I heard it from lmao (fav got to be Churches by Evan tower)
This is a very good VN, it's def a bit short, kinda wish there is some more stories to spend more time with the characters. I did manage to finish all route and I def like Remus the most. Other than that, the animate, music, cgs, etc. is very good. A friendly one if you want to start reading FVN.
extremely well written and peak. excellent pacing all the way through. great characters. love the main character. extremely impressive use of royalty free assets.
ABSOLUTE CINEMAAAAA But being honest this is an amazing read and I have spend about 2 days being hyperfixated, on and loving the story of because I have seen most endings and I don't even know what I missed because there are so many choices that it all feels so natural being connected together and it paces so well and everytime there something happening I feel such things, and for any sweet things I want to just hit my table so hard at the rush of emotions, and the writing and dialogue and humor, FIREEEEE, deffo one of my fav VNs and I implore anyone who sees this to give it a read
Also, idk where read more will be, I hope here but minor spoilers on how I feel about them
Also as much as I maybe thought of each of them ending up in a relationship, I like the way these ended, it feels very right Cedrick is babygirl boyfailure that is no longer boyfailure and we love him for that, and that dislike MC first to get to his route omg Wes is such a sweet... When he's not [spoiler], because DAYUMN BOI
And Luke omg, I get him and don't want to get him, but I would absolutely love to be besties with lmao
Also I have a thought about Remus and Abbet, either somehow Abbet's imagination made the entirety of Peregrine along with Remus, or Remus is Abbet and the Abbet we know is an Other-Remus if anyone else wants to make theories

It's like Phibbean disappeared off the face of the earth, which makes me a little sad. Hopefully nothing's happened to them.

Do u click Ignore yet, I usually did that and the game continue
yeah, but when I click ignore it just brings me to the next error, if I keep clicking ignore there's nothing but endless errors.

You can choose to stay with him in the Peregrine and get a touching ending. But in any case, he will fade away in the Peregrine.😭

I really wanna introduce Remus to a lot of cool things too, find something he might enjoy
Phibbian... when I find you Phibbian... (also "Kiss me, son of god" is a great choice of song for when you dissociate after reading this)
