What if there's a secret 4th artifact? There's nothing written about the past catastrophe, so it could be possible that the 4th (if it exists) may have fallen into the clutches of a dark force, or is hidden somewhere else. Otherwise, I can't imagine Cedric being here, and the idea of a hidden artifact sounds intriguing.
My only complaint about this game so far, is that there's no way to disable the sound effect that plays when the text appears on the screen. At least for me on Android . Since I didn't know how to disable it if possible, I just ended up muting the volume on my device entirely. Aside from that though, I really enjoyed this
This went from 1 to 100 so fast. I am quite enthused though, it was quite the twist, and a good one at that. It makes me wonder how many times he's done this.. he says he's been to the heart many times himself, so pretty concerning. Great use of dramatic irony btw.

Omg this bugged me so much. "Fight in the forest" is credited as the song that plays at the click to go to main menu screen as well as in the game proper and that song is "Walk in the forest".
Same artist, same album, same length, just one word difference in title and a slight difference in the notes and tunes between the two. Both are used but I don't see "Walk in the forest" credited.

I don't normally comment on these things, but your VN feels like more than just a good VN story but a good story with believable character development and real world vs fantasy world lessons and parallels that it seems like all the characters might experience.
Whenever you get back to this I'll be excited to read it! Great job!
I can stress enough how much I love that whichever of the three Kieran's personas(?) you'd go for will affect the story. Like it's such a minute detail but makes the vn much more replayable. Instant favourite, no cap.

I'm really liking this. *spoiler* I actually chose to talk to Cedric instead of fighting him. Normally I always choose the 'get most likes' choice. But I just felt the protagonist deserved a chance to speak to him. That's when I know when I'm reading a good story, I care more about what the protagonist goes through versus the so called rack up the most like points choice. You may want to get a patreon page if you think you can commit to this project.
Thanks, I appreciate the comment. I tried to craft some choices hoping players would be forced to think about the kind of character they're playing and what their motivations are. Glad to hear people are engaging with the game. I don't think I have the kind of schedule that allows for a Patreon right now, but maybe someday.

Did you try switching the CTC off?
The sound effect when text plays can be turned off by turning the Voice volume slider all the way down in the preferences menu. Hope this helps!

There's no visual nudity so far. There's also a toggle in the game's preferences to enable/disable the most explicit content.
